Tips for people starting out ( What i have learnt )

Been playing Ark on Xbox and when starting this game there has been a lot of things I have learnt. These are not going to be basic, basic tips but things which can just help you on your adventure.

  1. Don't go exploring to much at the start, find a nice spot which has access to wood, stone, thatch and fibre. Is also near water and plants to get loads of berries.

  2. As soon as you can get the storage box and hide it in a very decent place near to where you are going to be building/surviving. Storing things like hide and extra spears/bows and more valuable things which take time to build, craft or get. Only carry the things which you need to gather things and defend yourself with because you will die a lot and you don't want to lose your stuff each time.

  3. Don't trust anyone, but don't start the fight. If you see someone coming towards you, draw your spear but don't attack. If they don't attack you striatum away, put your spear away but get ready to draw it again if they start to attack. You don't want to make enemies straight away.

  4. Don't trust tribes straight away, if you have got someone wanting to invite you to their tribe, find out what they can offer or what their tribe is about. When you join a tribe, your property and Dinos become theirs and some tribes take advantage of this from new people. So don't rush into joining until you know what they are like and if they have a good or bad reputation in the server.

  5. Try to speak to as many friendly people as possible. I'm always speaking to new people asking them about hostile tribes they have encountered or people who kill on site. I write these names down so I know more about the people on the server. Also it's good to have allies and friends who can help you out.

  6. If you do join a tribe and you don't like what they are about or they are just being dicks to you. All you can still keep your Dino if you want to leave, first un claim him, leave and then claim him again. This has helped me a few times when I have joined a tribe, and they where never on, and I wanted to move tribes.

There are more I will add and be cool for others to share their little tips
