How to change directions while freestyling - Mini guide

So one of my main problems when I started freestyling was changing my direction in the air.

After some time I learned one way to change your direction without stopping the freestyle.

First, I have to introduce you to two motions which are a part of most freestyles.

This one, the kuxir twist:

And this one, lets call it the pirouette

I hope you can see the difference.

Here is a comparison what you have to do to achieve one of them: http://imgur.com/FFv26Jw (of course while holding your airroll button)

Now, you do the twist until your car points in the direction you want to go, then you do the pirouette. I tried to make it obvious here. First I aimed for the right wall, then changed it to the left goal corner.

If you want to change your directions again, you have to go from the pirouette move back into the twist. I also did that in this clip but it may be a bit harder to see.

I also tried a full 180° change here, turned out not perfect but well.

Experiment with it and it may help you get better with freestyles :)

The secret and "hard part" of this is when to change from the twist motion into the pirouette motion and vice versa.
