This has been rolling around in my head and I've finally managed to get it down on paper so please let me know what you think...

I see you heart is tired.

You want to be wild and free.

Without a care in the world, just swinging from a tree.

I see your heart is tired.

You think it’s tired of me.

Remember last week you told me, I’m the one you need.

I see your heart is tired.

You mind started to run,

I think you might’ve said some things than cannot be undone.

I see your heart is tired.

But is that an excuse,

To treat me like you did, yet say you cut me loose?

.

You lied, and you deceived.

Said spiteful things to hurt me.

You took me for granted.

Said you wouldn’t but then did desert me.

You lied some more,

Changed your mind more times than I recall.

You were cowardly and childish.

Took my money with no means to repay.

Strung me along.

Said it wasn’t over, and then made me wait for days.

Now I’m gone, you pushed me away,

But your plan has backfired,

‘Cause I’m the only one who knows, what your heart looks like when it’s tired.
