So I'm at a volleyball tournament and taking the occasional Vape out in the smoking area. A lady walking by was genuinely surprised at the smell. We talked for a bit and I think I may have started her down the path of getting her husband to Vape.

I always get asked if I just ate pancakes. Apparently I smell like maple syrup.
As a Canadian I usually smell like maple syrup regardless if there were pancakes involved.
Custard and bakery flavorings smell like maple syrup to me too.
I got that after vaping Cinnatoast Munch from MBV and also Caramel Candy.
Actually had a similar incident! a middle aged gentleman approached me at the park, I thought he was going to be offended or something but he instead inquired about it very politely and said the smell reminded him of a dessert his mom made when he was a kid. Banana bread pudding mmmmm

My SO and I were standing in line for a haunted house this past Halloween, and we were sharing hits off my vape, Jimmy the Juiceman's Shurb. The mother and son (I would guess he was 16-18) commented something like "That vape smells delicious" to each other. I was satisfied and validated at the same time. Satilidated? Vatilified? Is there a word?

Lol, i just had someone come up to me the other night and ask if i was vaping maple syrup. Its a caramel, hazelnut, and butterscotch flavor that does smell pretty maple-y. But its easier to just say yes. Haha
My favorite that I ever got was, somebody was turning the corner, and before they saw me vaping, they said, "ooh, smells like a fair!"
I get that everywhere I go now, even when I'm not vaping. I love it!

My friend came over earlier tonight and the first thing she said when she came in and sat down was "Is that cotton candy?", haha. People usually love the smell of cotton candy, it can't be helped.

Makes sense. My favorite is a local juice called Zombie, from Smoke Revolt (yeah, their website looks straight outta '99). It is sweet and smells exactly like cotton candy on the exhale. Tastes nothing like it so I'm glad to have an explanation that makes sense.

There's a chance it's sweetened with ethyl maltol which tastes and smells exactly like cotton candy.
It's the ethyl maltol in the flavorings and added to the juice. EM is sold as "Cotton Candy" flavoring.
Yeah my brother smelled My Man by OHW and thought it was cotton candy.
