Last Night Around 12:11AM I saw a Vision of Christ
He was standing in a field of green, dressed in white, and His arms were stretched wide,
Revealing the red of his wounds against the blue and empty sky.
And He said to me, Look upon my face.
So I did, and His face was brighter than the sun, and the light of His face reflected in the moon of my heart.
The light in my heart shone out, across my room and beyond its four walls,
Transfiguring all that my mind touched:
A pile of textbooks on my floor, the snowdrifts outside, the stars and clouds, the trees, the vast blue ocean,
the night-time traffic, racists frothing in the news, carnivores and pollution,
All the beauty and chaos in my world, every spoke on the Wheel,
Resurrected in the uncreated purity of the Tabor Light.
The vision faded, and I fell asleep to the warmth of it's embers burning deep within my soul and His holy name upon my lips. . .
. . .Jesus, Abide in Me. . . Jesus, Abide in Me. . . Jesus, Abide in Me. . . Jesus. . .
I woke up this morning around 7:45, and the world moved on the same, but now a little more cold and a little more grey.
