Also I love rikameITG's little lie. There's threads about hating X game cause Y person loved it all over KiA and 8chan. Can't speak for 8chan, as I haven't been there in a long while, but seriously were are all these threads, (edit) on KiA, about wanting to like Undertale but we can't cause of the above? Or any games mentioned in that thread.

Gamers, though, are people who have made games and games culture a core identity. It’s one of the reasons why even though I play games every day I no longer refer to myself as a gamer. The term has come to refer to a small group who treat playing games as a simulated oppressed class (some even spell it with a capital G). They use games not for enjoyment, but to bolster traditional values that empower a very straight, white male point of view.
