UPDATED IDViking IL Review
I ordered from u/IDViking about a month ago during his $10 promo. After doing a review, he told me he would send me reprints and I promised to do an updated review when it arrived.
Communication: Didn't need to talk to him much but when I did, it was really good. I emailed him when he asked me to for the reprint, then PMed once which was responded to almost instantly.
Turnaround time: Took about a month, but because of the long wait he also sent me a free KY (review for this later.) so that was nice and made up for the long wait time!
ID Quality: The reprint looks ridiculously better than the old template. The white border around Illinois is a lot more prominent and the wave line things are lighter how they should be. Also the font is more accurate in size, color and boldness. Only major problems are that the issue date is before my 21st birthday and it says 5'08 when I'm 5'02.
Photoshop: Also much much better. My picture isn't super zoomed out anymore and my hair doesn't have wall in the picture.
Holograms: I believe they use the same holograms as before, which looked very accurate to the real thing.
UV: The UV was good on my first set, but is also good on this one!
Scanning: Scans accurately on most apps, although on one app it scans like this, but I don't think it will be a big deal bc it's only one app out of like 5 and it still says 21 yo.
Overall: Waaaay better than the original ID but still has a couple problems. It's a good budget ID but if you're looking to go to stricter places, this isn't the right ID.
