[Weapon Of The Day] THE SPLATTERSHOT / HERO SHOT REPLICA

[Inkipedia] (http://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Splattershot)

This less-used splattershot is rapidly becoming one of my favorite weapons. With enough damage up (i believe one main), you can make a burst bomb direct hit + one shot a kill on an enemy with no defense up main. While it is the lesser used brother of the much more popular Tentatek Splattershot, it still has its usefulness. With burst bomb rush, you can lob enough bombs out to cover a large amount of turf while also providing direct coverage in front of you to flankers trying to stop your onslaught. As for the stats of the original weapon, it will be a 3-shot kill to enemies with zero defense up; making this weapon a proponent of quick assassins as it has a good fire rate with a low shot to kill rate. In addition, this weapon is incredibly ink efficient. While it is outclassed by its brother, it still has its uses as a quick assassin.
