• After Wednesday’s late dropped points at Anfield thanks to Joe “Skrtel” Allen it was time for the dreaded annual trip up north to the troglodyte pottery den
• ...and the fixture certainly did not disappoint with questionable tackles, referee fugue states and unfulfilled chances aplenty
• Despite the gleeful grunts ringing around the stadium and our inability to score, the result was actually an improvement over last year’s loss
• Differential improves to +5 pts
