ID VIKING Alberta review

Communication

[10/10] - u/idviking is always on top of his customer service, no email sat for longer than a day - and it was usually MUCH less. He was even responding quickly on New Year's day.

Price

[9/10] - I ordered during the $50 dollar NYE promo, $50 was a great price for this ID (+ a dupe) and I would have gotten a second one (either QC or PA) but the exchange rate is brutal.

shipping speed

[8/10] - Got it in just over the advertised 2 weeks (got it on day 17), but I really can't complain, as he assured me that my IDs were on the way EDIT: reprints came in under 2 weeks and even a day before he predicted

Stealth

[7/10] - did not look shady or like an ID at all. Im giving this a 7/10 because it involved taping the IDs, which left quite a bit of residue on them. Not a huge deal but definitely an inconvenience to have to clean them

colours - looks identical to both images [10/10]

template - The front of the template looks REALLY good and pretty close to the real one. Everything on the back looks good, except for the little "embossed feature" in the bottom right, however if I am correct the bar book only shows the front, so unless someone is from Alberta they won't know. EDIT: Pretty sure back's template was updated, looks better on reprints then on original [8/10]

photoshop - I had photoshop done beforehand by u/myttins (did a great job by the way), so it looks like he just made it black and white [N/A]

Holos - There is one hologram seal that shines really good, but comparing the image inside to the real one it is just a little bit different, however again, nobody from outside Alberta would know [7/10]

UV - Pretty disappointing, that the uv on this ID is only a single colour (it SHOULD be blue and green), it is also missing the flower that should be in the top right - everything else that is and should be blue looks good though [6/10]

signature - looks pretty computer generated, but good. I'm sure it's not a big deal, unless they ask you to reproduce it.

Scanning - All my data scanned well, except a random "L" was added before my last name. This is not a problem though, as reprints are on the way. EDIT: reprints in, everything checked out

what's not there - embossed feature on back, micro printing, raised text and card material

Usability (EDITED)

[?/10] - Used at LCBO, lady barely even questioned it, even told me trusted me and that she is only checking the id book because she HAS to.

Overall

[8/10] - pretty impressed with my first fake. There are just a few minor errors and I am pretty far away from Alberta to have nobody realize them. The UV doesn't really bother me, as I don't think liquor stores pull a blacklight on people.
