A couple hours ago, reddit user u/Alisamix found the following strings using strings.exe in the tweeted image of the first poster: http://pastebin.com/6P9jJaY7
The first string: G5MC, leads to a radio ham here: http://qrzcq.com/call/G5MC
This frequency was updated on the day of the original poster tweet, 1-15-2016, by Cold Elf [Rev I], an anagram for Cloverfield. Downloading the sound file from that website and converting it into an image file finds this spectrogram: https://puu.sh/mIahB/5a52413e96.jpg

A few hours ago, the radio ham site updated today, 1-24-2016, for the first time since 1-15-2016. New numbers were found on the radio ham: em2Z512 and Tgi7g5M (which has yet to lead to anything).

This part “Cold Elf Rev I - cAlL Me” is the big part. Cold Elf Rev I is an anagram for Cloverfield as said before.
