Emergency response vehicles 93

There are four bridges crossing route 93 in Boston / Dorchester/ South Bay area, all with emergency vehicles with their lights on. Fire trucks also parked in breakdown lane on 93 south by Neponset. Anyone know what's going on?

Edit- Every bridge thru Braintree on 93S has emergency response present.

Edit 2- article about marine's family returning home and asking for public to line the route in respect. Thank you, u/notgoodwithmoney

It's in tribute to the fallen Marine from Hingham. His family is on its way back from Logan right now. They're raising some flags as well.

Thanks, that makes sense why it goes so far south. Looks like it extends down 3S, which makes sense for Hingham.

Sure, I was looking for the answer myself. Heard it on 1030AM while driving home.

Just read the article. 12 Marines died in a helicopter crash off of Hawaii?

The army is going to be getting a few more recruits in the next few days.

These are all parked and cops, firefighters, EMTs are just standing on bridges with all the vehicles lit up. It doesn't look like emergency response to something. One firetruck on Milton square bridge had a flag hanging.
