I use to think she knew more than Howard. But she cant even get her news right once a week.... What does she even do?

It was both (I think). At first, she said the favorites were the "Arizona Cardinals," but when Gary said the Panthers were in the Super Bowl, she kinda mumbled "Arizona...Panthers..."

its just a lazy show. she does zero preparation. she is always clueless about any big news story that happened over the weekend. she literally shows up and reads you a few headlines. but not even the real news, she reads you the trending stories from facebook. its all entertainment news. howard doesnt put in much more effort either.

I posted this a few days ago but still valid:
"My BFF had breast cancer and even after she completed her chemo she forgot so much I was actually scared. Like thinking 6th avenue went downtown while standing there hailing a cab and being a new Yorker for decades, she forgot I was married for 15 years (she said "and that's why you and I decided to stay single"), and she asked my friends visiting from Dallas where they were from 6 times and kept asking them about LA and how they liked living there. Those drugs are a nightmare."

Really? That's terrible. I no longer will get criticize Robin. I've had people suffer from cancer in my family only to not make it. Sure it was like they lost their minds, but we figured it was just like when someone talks nonsense when they are hardly awake. It's remarkable she's still there doing the news to begin with.

Hope your friend is well. No matter how much Robin screws up or talks off the cuff, I'm not going to judge. People that are critical in this situation needs to re-evalute their life. She had aggressive chemo! No one is perfect with or without chemo.

Thanks. My friend is a bit more like her old self but I would say she still will forget things or act out of it and her chemo was about a year ago. The time I wrote about with my visiting friends from Dallas was beyond scary. My friends even took me aside when she was in the bathroom and asked if she was ok and if they should leave. It was like no matter how many times you explained it, she just couldn't get it. I even heard her ask my SO when they had left and I was in the other room "so, how did you know them?" I had told her maybe 5 times that we used to work together. I wonder if Howard and the others get worried when they see Robin having big lapses?

It just seems like her assistants should be fired if they cant get her a danm script. Its truly the polar opposite of Howard's professionalism.

She referred to Megyn Kelly as Megan Fox at least twice in the news. My wife thinks it's funny when I yell at the radio, but I just can't believe someone gets paid so much to screw up the easiest tasks.

I really jumped on her over this when it happened on here. But it turns out Kyle Dunnigan actually said Meagyn Fox first, then she said it and the story kind of revolved around Megyn Kelly of FOX news having a war with Trump. I KIND OF give her a pass, but still. Her news has become amateur hour.

Yeah, she's been annoying me lately but that emotional breakdown she had on the air when Howard announced he was re-signing made me feel for her and think once again Howard's hiding something very serious going on about her health...I fear the worst is coming.

She isn't in studio all the time. She's still working from home occasionally, so there is frequently a personal disconnect with her. Also, I saw a recent picture of her and from personal experience, it looks like she is very ill again.

I think she's been in the studio since late 2014. The mic quality and interactions are usually different when she's broadcasting from home.

Inner workings? No need to know the inner workings. Just take a listen. You'll hear an audible difference if she's not in studio( no response, delayed response, clicks, hums and general personal disconnect). You'll also hear a different language usage("in there" instead of "in here"). You may not be one for picking up the nuances, but they are there.
