Hi-rez new patch to f**k us? Why didn't we get refunded CP?

Three of our cards were taken away one was a legendary which is 100CP...

With the refund of 3 chests I got 3 green cards in return which is worth what 10CP? I don't know becuase I can't check how much a card is worth any more because they took that information away from us.

WHY? Why did you remove the number of dupes I own from me? Are you trying to hide something?

I wonder how many Legendaries I have now... Better get counting as there is no counter for that anymore...

Why are we going backwards in this game? And why are we constantly being shafted with changes to cards, just wipe them if you are upset we got too many cards, you are the ones that gave them to us in the first place.

I felt like you added the CP changes to help with the problem of card refunds or issues but it seems like you just did it because.

I guess I forgot that Hi-Rez don't seem to like using logic anymore but seeing as they just gavce fernando 7500 shield with and a card with 75% increase in sheidl +1k health to that shield means that they probably want to make it so his shield last for the duration. So why not just make it last for X number of seconds with a legendary card instead?

EDIT 2: Most of you really seem to be missing the point of this I think. It's supposed to be about how we are being treated and asking questions about certain decisions that Hi-Rez are choosing to make with the game. I'm glad they have fun over there but if you watched the patch notes a few weeks back you'll know that it didn't seem like they were taking it seriously they gave us little information then peaced out, so they may aswell have just gave us written notes and not bothered with that anyway. A lot of us are excited about their game and I'd rather they not take advantage of that. Especially with the upcoming cosmetics they are going to be adding to game.

TL;DR You added CP, please use it.

I completely agree on your points about the cards, dust, refunds, etc. This sort of thing looks super sketchy IMO, coupled with incomplete patch notes, and missing or bonus things added to patches that weren't announced. These actions don't come across as transparent, which is necessary for a game that people have invested money into, and it gives me the feeling that Hi-Rez is trying to sneak things past the community without them noticing, by means of misinformation and devaluing in-game currency.

I think the original post was written well enough. I wouldn't have been able to comment in such agreement if I didn't understand your thoughts, and thus you wouldn't have replied to me in such a complimentary manner.

They are, yes. In this latest patch 3 cards were removed from the players deck and replaced with 3 champion chests which each give a single card.

The value of the cards removed was over 100CP, the chances of getting another legendary card from one of those chests or cards over the value of 100CP is pretty low.

Wouldn't it have been just as easy (and a lot fairer) for Hi-Rez to add the value of the cards removed to the players total CP?

What do you mean they are getting to CP? I know they all turn into CP but I'd like to know the number of each card I have a duplicate of. That information was available to me in the last patch now it is not.

Also to that picture... Holy shit Kaostic puts himself across in a really bad way. He comes off as a snarky little shit who hates everyone in this community... PonPon or him. I'll have ponpon every time please.

Kaostic may be a really nice guy, I don't know him. But every post on the forums, reddit, wherever is almost always passive aggresive and douchey.

Well, when you draw a duplicate it gets destroyed to dust. So you basically don't have a duplicate anymore but additional dust. So I don't see the point of showing a duplicate. That's what I meant.

Someone said they had 700 extra yourself 300. I have no idea how much I had before patch I barely pay attention as I find it hard to enjoy anything about the game at the moment. But if you did receive this CP why did this happen? I didn't see anything in the patch notes.

To your image again if you read through the bullshit in my post. Why remove the clear list of duplicate cards and hide it on the cards themself? It was clear and obvious where it was, but they feel the need to hide it away. Why?

Why should I have to keep an eye on it? It was quite clear before because I could see how many dupes I had and the number of dupes showed me how many cards I have. But oh well I can't see that anymore but its my fault I guess. I should of known they would remove something like that from the UI

Has there ever been something in your life that you were even slightly passionate about, and wanted to see succeed? However, every time you used it went to it, whatever, you just got a little frustrated cause they were making the same mistakes over and over?

No well that's how I feel. I want to love this game, but Hi-rez make it extremely hard for me to enjoy it. I'd love to hear their reasons for half of the decisions they have made in the game, however that would likely be too time consuming and I understand that.

This is, in part, why I didn't buy anything in game just in case something like this happens, heck, I even didn't buy the founders pack and instead my friend sent me a beta code instead the game fell through (although at this point I highly doubt it will)

They don't care... 1 card = 1 card = 1 champion chest

I tried to talk about how rarity of cards should matter when they refund chests back in patch 12

Where in patch 12.1 I got 4 Radiant chests back when I used 20 Radiant Chests and 30 Champion chests.

Their responds was "working as intended" because it doesn't matter if I had CP in those opened Chests and crafted epics and rares, they're still counted as same value as common and uncommon...

I shouldn't have been an idiot and craft multiple Common cards instead of getting useful epic and rares.

"No consumers you are wrong you will take what we give you, and be happy wiht it or shut up! We don't care what you think."

They created this new CP system and I was really hoping they would use it to avoid any of these mistakes again..

I'm really not sure why anyone is putting up with this shit, and the horrible "Community" Manager.

HiRez is being incredibly sneaky about this fact as well. Atleast from my perspective as I didn't see anything about this in the patch notes. Guess this is why I was missing so many chests...

I mean I didn't even go into all the mistakes I believe they have made with this game from beginning until this point specifically because of this "but its a beta excuse" so I don't really think it applies to what I am trying to discuss here.

Why would you remove a useful feature from your game, especially if their intention is to just add it back in later. I mean it works right now jsut leave it there.

I'm also more in favour of an entire card reset rather than all this BS with them seemingly trying to lower our card numbers. Card farming also doesn't bother me as I'm a barik main so as long as I can afford all his cards I couldn't give a shit.

I don't know dude. Devs do that all the time. In Heroes of the Storm blizzard removed debuff and buff icons from above the portrait. No one really knows why as they were useful.

All I can say is that each iteration of the game may not be better than the previous. They are tweaking all kinds of things. Just keep giving feedback though - they read these forums.

I like many others want the game to succeed, and I feel it necessary to question why they are making certain decisions. Why are they taking more information away from us. There is still no easy way in game to see what damage numbers skills actually do in-game.

I'm sorry I'm asking the questions that we should be asking. I'd rather discuss the issues than name call with you though, so please do that instead.

As far as I am aware this is the last information they gave on the subject. Their intentions are not to wipe after Beta.

Our goal is to preserve your player progress through the beta. In some extreme cases in which core elements of the progression system change, Hi-Rez Studios may have to wipe some player progress, but our goal is to minimize this. Remember, this is a true beta and we do expect there to be bugs. We also expect that certain key systems in the game may change in very major ways.

If progress is wiped, do I keep the things I’ve purchased?

Yes! You will retain access to your purchases, including the Founder’s Pack, even if player progress is wiped."
