I was wondering why they listed all those academics at the bottom of the article in support of the sales tax, but they didn't list what they taught. Well surprise surprise, only a couple specialize in economics or public policy. Like half are sociology professors LOL. Fucking joke of an article trying to seem legitimate with academic support, like a fucking SJW professor knows anything about taxation?

Who would take an economic professor seriously? Aren't the good economists employed in government or the private sector?

LOL, rite? No university economist ever came up with shit. Keynes, Friedman, Krugman, Stiglitz, Ohlin, Galbraith, Hayek, Polyani, and Smith are economic retards compared to Stephen Joseph Harper and his Masters Degree from the University Community College of Calgary !

The sales tax debate in Alberta is so polluted now that I can't even express my position on it. I'm actually pro sales tax, so long as they introduce it as revenue neutral (ie: cut income taxes). But the people calling for sales tax aren't asking for this, they just want more tax revenue.

Typically you should be spending less as you make less. But instead we should rob more from the people so we can spend the same or more when people are making less. Wrap your head around that.
Always putting a patch on the problem instead of fixing the issues at hand. One example being the $1 billion annually we spend on healthcare due to obesity.
I pay enough taxes as it is, fuck this nonsense.
I say we borrow more money so we could build more burrito shops.
