[EVENT]Moving Forward

With a new year upon us, it is once again time for Xi Jinping to sign off on the litany of petitions and projects that pass before his desk. These projects come from all across the nation from every department and county.

[M] All but one of these projects are existing projects already in R&D or in the finishing stages in China. However, in order to ensure they are considered valid in the future for the sake of World Powers, I'm going to make sure they are listed here and given a budget. (Remember, in World Powers, we don't assume anything!)

• Project 001 At a cost of $3,000,000,000 annually all air bases & command and control centers will be upgraded to hardened underground facilities. (http://www.viewzone.com/chinabases/base1.html)

• Project 002 At a total cost of $32,000,000,000 paid over 20 years. The continued R&D of a true 6th generation fighter and all requisite technologies (radar, avionics,engines etc...) to begin full rate production in 2036 with low rate concurrent production to begin in 2030.

• Project 003 At a total cost of $26,000,000 paid over 6 years. The continued construction and associated R&D for the construction of 2 additional Liaoning+ class carriers. (Completion dates of April 2019(Dalian Shipyard) and April 2021(Jiangnan Shipyard). In addition the finalization of R&D for a Domestic first generation Chinese Aircraft Carrier.

• Project 004 At a cost of $200,000,000 per year, over 5 years. The continued and finalization of R&D for the Sharp Sword & Dark Sword UCAVS program.

• Project 005 At a cost of $250,000,000 paid over 5 years. The continued and finalized R&D of the Xian H-20 bomber concept.

• Project 006 At a cost of $500,000,000 per year paid over 10 years. The development of a 5th generation VTOL/STOL capable fighter and all requisite technologies (radar, avionics, engines etc...)
