• Getafe will miss the suspended players Mehdi Lacen and Álvaro Pereira. Roberto Lago might miss the match as well.
• Filipe, Gabi, Griezmann, Godín, Giménez and Carrasco are one yellow card away from suspension. If they are booked, they will miss the match v. Villarreal.
• During the first round of this season, Atlético beat Getafe 2-0. Griezmann scored a brace including this one.
• Getafe set the away tickets at 50€ each. Only about 100 Atleti fans are expected to attend the match. Usually this would mean that the crowds would be balanced, but as Madrid play the day before there will be more Getafe fans than usual.
• Today it has been rainy and windy all day in Madrid, so only the GKs have trained in the grounds
