Why I Believe The Album Will Drop Today

Let's look at the timeline of the album. 17 tracks were finished and ready to be mastered by Mike Dean. According to Mike, Virgil and Plain Pat, they were working on the mastering since the evening of the 11th. Kanye said the album was being mastered and would be out yesterday, before Kanye and Chance finished Waves last night and he said TLOP is done.

Since Mike has probably been working non-stop (within reason) on mastering and we've only had one song added, the album should drop today. Another reason I think it's dropping today is that Kanye is very meticulous about how his art is perceived. He wanted his album to be heard before the SNL performance, which means if he has it his way, it'll drop before 8:30 PST when the album premiers, or at least right after.

I NEED THIS FUCKING ALBUM SOMEONE DISCUSS THIS WITH ME UPPABLOS TO THE LEFT, ORDER ME A GODDAMN PIZZA

I think it will drop today to. I don't necessarily think it'll drop before SNL but I believe the album will be out by 11:59 PST tonight. How could it not be honestly?

Seemed like they were pretty much done with mastering. Then Chance wants Waves added, they work on it, Chance tweets last night "Done" with a picture of the tracklist with Waves added...now this doesn't necessarily mean the album is completely done because shortly after Kanye tweeted "now to finish Pablo". But realistically what would there be to finish? Mastering Waves? Most likely nothing more than mastering Waves IMO

EDIT- But at the same time if that was all that was left to do it should probably be out by now..

I agree, I think he's set a "by today" deadline for himself today, there's a lot that can be done in the span between Waves being finished, the SNL performance and afterward. I wouldn't be surprised if the master is already done and ready to ship to iTunes or whoever.

If the master isn't done already and ready to ship out, I'd be pissed. I mean holy shit Ye has known that 2/11 he was debuting the album, he said so himself. I really thought it would be available before midnight on 2/11. If it's not out by midnight tonight I'm gonna legit go insane

At this point I don't know if he's going to drop it right before or right after SNL. Either way today seems to be the right bet. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets on stage with a laptop, opens it, and presses enter.

One thing bugging me though is how/where it will be released. If it's directly through kanyewest.com that would be doable today (though can his site handle the bandwidth?). But if it will be on Tidal, iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play all at the same time, I'm not sure how one would coordinate that within one day. I remember when TPaB leaked and was released across all platforms within like an hour, but I'm assuming all those platforms already had the files.

It's been a year since it was 80% done, why is he mastering only now? Why wasn't it mastered before his listening party? This is ridiculous! Why doesn't he tell us more!
