So, here's a tip: format. You've got a nice rhyme and rhythm here, and you should really let it show! As for the tone, well, it's consistent. And I hope you were going for monotone, because boy, this felt like a slow drive on a kansas road, there's not just nothing, there's a whole lot of it.  

And don't take that the wrong way! It's a very effective nothing, a very draining and depressing nothing.

I do have to agree with them too, formatting would do this poem more justice but the overall content is still enough IMO. I enjoyed the rhyming scheme you put in place and can actually relate to the emotions expressed in your poem. Good Job!

My heart lies in pieces, shattered by doubt, this feeling of hopelessness turning me inside out, this feeling I know all too well, but never ceases to hurt, getting closer to pushing me off the edge, or burying me in the dirt, trying to overcome the feeling, but only getting more hurt, I try to put my heart back together, but I think I lost a piece, so now I'm always empty, my loneliness to never cease.
