Endurance Mode...
... so I know it is procedural but the big question is has anyone being able to gauge how big the Endurance Mode Forest is. Or is it really infinite till you cave in to difficulty and die.

Well, I saw 2 of 4 map walls once - it was the big cliff to fall down on one side and vertical mountain wall on the other side. So, I saw the corner of the map. Something like on day 6. And yes, I tried to run along - they were really meant to be the end of the map.
Not sure if I just was unlucky to start so close to the corner or what.

It's not infinite, though it is /very/ large. You're not likely to explore the whole generated map in a session.
