Introducing the official /r/twitchplayspokemon discord server!
Winter Cleaning: Flairs and Emotes
Enough interest seems to have been gotten, so it'll be happening. Just in time for Anniversary Crystal, we're launching the official subreddit discord server today! Woo hoo.
If you don't know what Discord is, it's a up-and-coming instant message & voice client with a targeted audience for gamers. For reference, here is their website. For our server, joining our voice channels aren't required - we're perfectly fine if you just come to text chat and not sing Church of Helix Choir songs with us. You don't need to install anything if you don't want to, just hit the link and you're in.
The success of the server, of course, requires that you guys do be social enough! Don't be shy! When you hit the link, you'll first be in the #landing text channel, which acts like a bulletin board that has all you need to know about the server.
Without further ado...
But Ty! What about the IRC?!
It isn't going anywhere! You're always free to join the IRC if you prefer it, and we'll be in both channels.
