Just posted this but for some reason it was taken down...

Here are some interesting stuff I noticed:

North and Saint are listed as creative consultants lol

Drake has writing credits on Facts and 30 Hours

Donnie Trumpet did the trumpets on ULB

Cyhi has writing credits on 11 songs...

sudoaptgetinstall2OP•

The first one makes sense since maybe what he's trying to do is the Nas situation where now his daughter will always get a payout from Stillmatic for being credited as an executive producer.

19
ProSwervez•

Drake probably has credits on Facts bc it was obvious that the song was influenced by Drake's Jumpman verse. Not sure about 30 hours tho

15
wayofapilgrim•

You kiddin me? 30 Hours' entire 2nd verse is all Drake. Skrrt skrrt skrrt like a private school for women

10
xNickLawler•

Also "then i make myself a smoooothie/then me and wifey make a moooovie" has that Drake elongated-word flow

21
crassus13•

Damn, I knew I recognized that flow somewhere.

7
KiDeVerclear•

The first few intro bars too. Then the bars culminating in "only thing open is waffle house girl don't start with me."

is that the second verse? ionno.

Drake was probably in the room. Cyhi is always in the room.

Cyhi isn't on GOOD anymore, he hasn't been for a while

To people down voting me, he's not part of GOOD, he's still friends with them but he isn't with them

http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/cyhi-the-prynce-clarifies-label-situation-speaks-on-making-elephant-in-the-room-news.17045.html

-9
caramelgod•

No he is. Did you miss the rollout of the elephant song and his lion single? Its good music released. Besides, that doesnt matter. Cyhi and pusha are good friends, and Cyhi has been involved heavy w/ good music artists.

10
chrismsx•

Cyhi is still GOOD. Stop spreading that BS rumor.

https://twitter.com/cyhitheprynce Still on his twitter and he talks about being on GOOD all the time in his tweets.

6
classicortrash•

he is still with good but he isnt with def jam anymore.

4
ScratchinOVALord•

Ok I'm wrong jfc why is everyone so upset?

do you have the writing crdits?

2

The fact Rick Rubin is on Ultralight Beam, and Father Stretch My Hands Pt 1 & 2 just increases my respect for that man. One of the greatest, hands down. (Fuck the "Loudness War" controversy.)

Alex Tumay worked on Highlights but was not credited. https://twitter.com/alextumay/status/699733833357357064

Montana??

here's a cool interview with DJ Dodger Stadium about their time with Kanye http://www.laweekly.com/music/kanye-west-just-called-dj-dodger-stadium-up-to-the-big-leagues-6607217

6
Sluttybuttersauce•

That's a lot of payout.

5
Jajo5•

I love that Kanye fucks with house music. Chicago House is pretty much the origin of modern day house. He uses a Kings of Tomorrow sample for Low Lights (all of the spoken word) and on Fade he samples Mr Fingers (a house legend). I love house, arguably more than hip-hop.

Found this in the source code area thing:

That's pretty cool. Had to make the picture smaller to see the image though.

3
larochefookau•

thanks for the tip i couldn't see it

2
MGLLN•

Drake was on 30 Hours?? Or did he write it??

4
GeneralTsosChickens•

Writing credits. Personally I think the second verse sounds so heavily Drake influenced.

8
crassus13•

Yep, people forget that Drake actually wrote a lot for other people initially - Alicia Keys, Rita Ora, Jamie Foxx, Nicki, Trey Songz..

2
GeneralTsosChickens•

Which is why I don't think he has ghost writers. And if he does it's not like he can't write his own shit. Back to the point though, yeah I definitely see Drake helping Kanye on this.

1
AtlasAtlasAtlas•

all of it sounds like a drake song.

1
WhirlStore•

I really want to know, who included the street fighter sound bites? Was it Ye, Metro, or Southside?

4
DecimusRutilius•

I really want to know too, I fucking love when that "perfect" comes in, especially on pt. 2

2
aintpayingattention•

very important

2
morningzone•

Soo.. what happened to Rocky, Earl, Tyler?

4
stevejobsthecow•

Or Travis and Vic

2
morningzone•

For reference:

"On January 27, 2016, West revealed an update of the final track listing on his official Twitter account, which has the album's opening track, titled "Nina Chop" replacing by the new song, titled "Famous". This updated track listing also revealed a number of potential collaborators, which includes Earl Sweatshirt, Chance the Rapper, brandUn DeShay, The-Dream, Tyler, The Creator, OFWGK†Δ, The World Famous Tony Williams, Diddy, A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi and French Montana, as well as a returning of his previous production collaborators such as Mike Dean, Hudson Mohawke and Noah Goldstein, as well as new production collaborators with Plain Pat and Vicious."

2
DarkMetroid567•

Also fun to note: Frank is NOT credited for vocals on Wolves

4
Gotham_Ashes•

I wonder how much Cyhi is getting for all these writing credits on this & Yeezus.

3
robertsada•

it's so ridiculous that kanye NEVER puts on for cyhi, yet desiigner comes out of nowhere for two features on the album lol

2
edlyncher•

Still mad he didn't ask permission for that verse on So Appalled /s

2
downtothegwound•

I've been wondering this recently...But does Kanye still make all the beats like he did for his first few albums? Or do the secondary producers pretty much prepare the beat for him? anyone know?

3
Linisopolis•

now he has a bunch of people working together and he more or less 'directs' them to whatever sound he wants. He's not as hands on as he was back in his College Dropout days

9
downtothegwound•

That's kinda upsetting but whatever, he directs the overall sound of the album/song.

2

Same situation w/ Dre, although Dre has allegedly outright stolen beats from Scott Storch. Kind of disappointing but the end product will always be dope this way so I get over it

3
ArmondWhite420•

What's upsetting about it?

3
doc7114•

its cool listening to an album and knowing you are hearing the singular vision of the artist. like when you listen to a big krit, tyler the creator, or lil ugly mane album.

4
classicortrash•

secondary

3
GeneralTsosChickens•

His process kinda reminds me of Dre's now.

2
Dropthatbass13•

Not a complete list, Chance is missing from Waves and there are a few other errors.

I find it strange Rubin only has production credits for a couple songs, but has an Co-Executive Producer credit with Noah Goldstein. Can anyone shed some light on Rubin's level of involvement on the album as a whole?

3
KiDeVerclear•

keeping the couch warm

9
robertsada•

"he's a reducer, not a producer"-kanye said

he was the one that reduced yeezus from 20 tracks to ten. executive producers are much different than song producers. whereas song producers make the music, executive producers are the ones that make ties with the label, and work with album structure like Rick Rubin does

3
jethrul•

I think Ye outsourced too much of the album, lost touch with what made him great. Yeezus was amazing though.

3
kingofnumber2•

...have you seen the Yeezus credits? lol

10
robertsada•

dawg he's basically stuck with most of the same producers since yeezus

2
jethrul•

Nah I love the beats in a die hard hudmo fan I just mean on the rhymes

1
robertsada•

oh you mean like other people writing his lyrics? totally agree on that part. his verses just weren't as fire as they usually are on this album. i thought all of the features he had leading up tot he album, like on U Mad, blessings, All your fault, and on all day he rapped a lot better than on this album

1
serious_face•

Wasn't there some guy on Twitter on Saturday claiming to have produced Silver Surfer Intermission? Seemed to have some connections / knowledge and was telling people not to pay for the album on Tidal.

3
ElloJelloMellow•

it was all bullshit the song is a phone call

3
sanjuanWolf•

Where's earl at?

3
Azersam•

Did he take Frank Ocean off 'Wolves'?! He's not credited under vocals, only as a writer. Fuck...
