At least for those of us who paid for two day shipping or have prime, two more days until a lot of us get to play Fates except Europeans. I just used that Prime free trial and ended up saving like, 17 dollars per game due to free shipping and the 20% discount. Wasn't bad.

Just make sure that you go back and cancel Prime. By accepting the free trial Amazon will automatically sign you up for like a year of Prime membership, which is like a $100. If you don't cancel it before the free trial ends you'll get slapped with the Prime membership charges.
Yeah, I already set it to not renew and just in case, whenever the games get here I'm gonna cancel it. I appreciate the reminder, though!
You can get a fat student discount with an active student email account.
No problem! I got hit with the Prime membership fees when I did the two week trial, so I try my best to stop others from falling into the same trap.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. But then they charged me an early cancelation fee. Regardless, I wasn't very happy with Amazon.
I had a slightly similar issue. I got the student prime for free, but for some reason that doesn't include prime video. So I go to watch something on amazon (not knowing that I didn't have that in my student account) and it charged me for it. Fortunately I was able to call up and have them undo the charge

Yeah, I think that's a shitty change that they've made over the last year. I remember ordering a Blu-Ray or something before I had Prime, and 2-day shipping was enough for them to get it to you on release date.

Maybe because that was a limited edition item? I imagine they would be really overwhelmed trying to ship out potentially hundreds of thousands of games out and get it there on release day.
The same thing happened to me when I preordered Xenoblade X. I then proceeded to get it release day. It's probably just them not taking into account their preorder policy. I think you'll still get it Friday.

Scalping is a practice where people buy limited edition items to sell them at a higher price at a later date. Assholes, basically.
I mean the people who bought lots of copies so they could jack up the price and kept other people from getting them. Some of us weren't lucky enough to preorder within that hour that the special edition was announced so now they jack up the price cause they know people will pay it.

Mine says Not Yet Shipped, thing that bothers me is that ever since I put the order months ago, its said that instead of Preordered like my other order of Twilight Princess HD. This could just be nothing, but I was already burned by my Lucas amiibo preorder never coming, tense that Fates doesnt follow suit.
At the time of writing this comment, my SE has updated from "preparing for shipment" to "On Time" so...still hasn't shipped but I guess it's better than "Not Yet Shipped". My doubt is slowly lowering :)
Edit: I was still under the Prime Free Trial when I pre-ordered, and it has since ended, but I still got the discount and same-day delivery. I'm very satisfied! Also it seems I have been charged so...Looks like I'll have to wait and see!

Under tracking it says: "Package has left seller facility and is in transit to carrier() " then there's a tracking number with UPS after it. Amazon probably hasn't updated their tracking info yet, they're not always super up to date.
