This is why we can't blame the fullbacks on how many crosses we let in. We were driving them to make crosses because there was no way in through the middle. And again, it wasn't a cross that cost us either goal.
Also, Pedro seemed to have faded in the second half and left Dave exposed a few times 2 on 1, which PSG exploited.
Yeah you could see he was wrecked by the 75th minute.
If only there was some way that a player could be swapped for another player sitting on the bench.. Maybe we'll call it Swapstitutions?
yea, and he was covering really well in the first half too
Great to see Pedro and Hazard getting recognition for their first half performances, thought they both were brilliant. Also nice to see longer videos on the channel!
Lol at the people that say Hazard doesn't work hard anymore. Fuck them
exactly, he was frequently helping out Baba in defence and in this season as a whole he's done a lot more defensive work than he usually does
This is what I was talking about in the pre match threads when people were saying we should go "all out attack" and that this team can't play defensively. We would have been slaughtered if we went full on attack. Playing defensively was always the way to go given our situation and strength compared to PSG.
I'd just like to mention, Azpilicueta's first half performance is probably one of the best fullback performances I've seen since Cole vs. Ronaldo. Wish there was a video of all the times he stifled an attack and/or won us the ball back in that half.
