Telling on a cheater: a rant

I told on a cheater today. He had lied about still being with his girlfriend before so when he hit me up I messaged his girlfriend to confirm. Sure enough they were not on a "break" and his girlfriend ask about many things to confirm. Things came out we were both shocked. I just wanted to look out for another girl. I had been in the position before and being told is better than not. Dates matched up and secrets were found out.

Now he calls me up crying saying I ruined his life,! it was my place and I didn't know her. That he should've explained it. Should've explained what? Downplay what you did? I told her not as revenge to you but to make sure she could make her own decision. I told her because she didn't know you were on a "break" and boyfriends don't do that. I told her cause I was looking out for her interests which were clearly not as important as his own. So don't make me look like the bad guy when your actions are what got you in trouble. You wouldn't be here if you were faithful.

So it's not about you and ruining your life it's about the life of the girl you cheated on and protecting her. Cause if she is as great as you were telling me when begging to recant then she deserves better than you.
