Anyone know when the airbag issue will be fixed for dealers?

I have been looking for a 99-2004 Mustang with lower miles for quite some time and the dealers told me they aren't allowed to sell them until the airbags are fixed and they have no idea when the airbag problem will be fixed on them. Does anyone know when? I live in the Salem Oregon area and have hardly found any either on Craigslist or a dealership. Thank you.
