Moving to a new state- how do I get a job?

I'm a sixth year teacher, and after my seventh year my boyfriend and I are planning on moving to Oregon where I'll need a new license. Does anyone know what the best process is to get a job in a new state? Should I get my license first and then apply for jobs, or can I apply for jobs with the understanding that I already have a teaching license and will be getting an Oregon teaching license before the beginning of the school year?
