Whose analysis can I trust regarding the economic policies proposed by presidential candidates? A response to the r/economics bernie sanders megathread. crosspost from r/economy
After reading through the r/economics bernie sanders economic proposals megathread, I am struck that the science of economics can be so divided on what will actually happen if these policies were implemented.
In the same vein, I read from one source that ted cruz's tax plan would be great for the economy, and another stating that it would be completely unsustainable for our budget.
I guess my question is this: how can I get the best information on how each candidates policies would effect the economy? Who can I trust?
