PSPgo GBA emulator/options?

Hey guys, I bought a cracked PSPgo off a friend a while back (so the crack is probably fairly old, don't know how to find the version), and it's got a GBA emulator on it that I've been playing Golden Sun on. But I can't seem to get good settings, and the big problem causer (Summoning Boreas) causes my game to black screen until the summon is complete.

I'm currently running 'gpSP kai 3.2 user 64MM test 02' from what it says on the PS home, and upon starting it, the emulator menu confirms ver:3.2 user test 02.

I have it set to decent settings, but its still not perfect, and I know nothing about optimizing emulation.

Display scaling: fullscreen 16:9

Screen Filtering: no

Frameskip type: automatic

Frameskip value: 2

Frameskip variation: random

Audio output: yes

Audio buffer: 2048 bytes

Is there an emulator that can handle Golden Sun and summoning Boreas? What are optimal settings for running Golden Sun on a PSPgo?
