Just finished Tomb Raider (2013 reboot)

So I was going to buy Rise of the Tomb Raiser since it has gotten such high ratings and people seem to like it a lot... So I thought I'd start with the reboot game. It was absolutely horrible and I can't understand why people enjoyed this game? It was grinding, there were barely any tombs, the environments were dull, gray, and so repetitive... And the character development/story was lifeless. I returned it and picked up MGSV. Is Rise of the Tomb Raider any better? Because this game doesn't deserve anything above a 5 or 6. Just my opinion.
