In four years, Director Ang Lee puts out a serious drama movie about an incestuous relationship

It takes the relationship and situation seriously and tries to shed light on the subject and the issues the characters face because of their relationship, much like Brokeback Mountain did previously. In interviews, Lee states he wanted the audience to understand how the characters felt and perhaps be more accepting or at least not as judgmental about the subject matter.
