Adjust area of dpad that activates touch menu?

I don't see an option to adjust the dpad area of when to show a touch menu... the full dpad activates it. The slightest graze of the dpad pops it up and sometimes the way I hold the controller, my thumb on the stick or finger pressing the menu button grazes it and pops it up. It'd be nice to say only activate the touch menu from a certain radius.
