WE'RE ADRIFT.

My wife and lost what we had on multiple occasions. Four years ago we lost EVERYTHING. What is everything? EACH OTHER. I saw most of this coming. We had to part for awhile so that we could put things in place to make sure it didn't happen again. We had to part ,as well, because if we hadn't we would have lost each other forever. We have been failed by a broken "system" as other's across the world have been. We have been back together for three years now. When she was gone, i slept every night with a sealed , heart shaped silver box in my hand that contains a lock of her hair. We had a discussion when we first met sixteen years ago. It was on that night that i sealed her hair in it. She tought me the meaning and importance of empathy and unconditional love. Empathy is the ability to feel what other's feel. Unconditional love is love without boundaries. Time and people are the only things that CANNOT be replaced. They are so precious and important. We have helped so many people. In the end, i've always known that i would not be saved. I did not go into this expecting to be. For me, that would be selfish. She has multiple health problems. Again, we've been thrown away by an apathetic "system" that does not care. We were thrown overboard, and like so many others, we're adrift on an ocean of despair and we're praying to God to send a "ship" to help us. S.O.S. HELP US! ALL OF US! Across the world!
