Deciding between Circle and Mercs

Hi!

I've been looking at all of the factions, trying to decide what would suit me the best. I have eliminated most based on looks or their playstyle and come donw to two options, Circle or Mercs.

Circle Orboros:

• Cool warpwolf-beasts

• Teleporting and hit and run playstyle

• Lore about them is pretty nice

• Nice mix between infantry and beasts

• Have a hard time finding casters that I would like (too few casters that seem fun)

• Hard to play

• Don't like the wolds that much, would probably play exclusively warpwolfs and tharns

Mercs:

• Lots of variation in units and casters, different styles

• Jacks look cool, especially renegade, mangler and galleon

• Lore-wise, they are awesome to read about

• Bit tempted to go for a rhulic list, to begin with

• Don't like pirates or puppet masters, which limits what I want to play within the faction

• Might need to invest a lot of money to have a couple of decent lists.

I might have forgotten some of my pros/cons above, but they atleast show bits and pieces of what I like and dislike with the two factions.

If I were to start a collection of either faction, I would like to start at 35p since that is what we usually play in my hometown.

What lists would be decent to start off with for 35p for both factions? Could anyone give me some idea of what I can buy to begin with?
