I tried to use a windows 7 start orb changer on windows 10...

Hello, yesterday I attempted to change the start button on windows 10 using an orb changer for windows 7 that I had heard worked on windows 10. Immediately after using this program, windows explorer crashed and I was left with my applications open to a black background and no way of switching between them other than alt tab. Then, I restarted my computer in a desperate attempt to fix the problem, which obviously didn't help. After this, I attempted a system restore, but having only updated to 10 very recently I only had one restore point, which didn't do anything but bring me back a few hours with the same issues. Now when I start up my computer I am greeted by the standard windows 10 lock screen, I put in my password and it loads for a long time before going to a black screen with a cursor. I can use ctrl alt del to open task manager but that is essentially the only thing that I am able to do. Help!!

EDIT: I was able to use command prompt to run the program and reset my start orb, which fixed everything. Thanks for all the help everybody!
