Looking for some tips and advice..new to wet shaving.

Hey everyone. First and foremost I want to thank anyone and everyone that will take their time reading and offering advice.

I'm new to wet shaving and recently picked up a travel kit from The Art of Shaving. So far, my shaves have felt better and resistance and razor burn irritation are greatly reduced now. Only problem is the cost. The smell is fantastic too. I have the sandalwood. So I wanted to ask for recommendations on very good creams, oils and aftershave lotions as well as brushes if the one in the kit isn't good enough.

For my second question, I wanted to know which blade would be good. I'm currently using a very cheap replaceable shavers blade holder but the metal in it is starting to rust. So any preference on replaceable blades as getting on official shavette would be timely in keeping it maintained.
