Canada road trip in RV

My friends and I are considering a road trip in a RV in Canada this summer, but we have some questions we were hoping to get answered here. First off, what area in Canada is best suited for such a trip? Should we rent an RV prior to arriving, or will we be fine by doing it when we get there? What company would you suggest we hire from? General tips for a trip like this are also welcome!
