I've just changed pickup. Feedback?

Hi everybody.

First of all, forgive me if I'm posting this the wrong way (wrong title or whatever): first thread for me on the whole reddit.

So, I've changed by myself the pickup on my Squier Chris Aiken Precision (it was the only squier I could find with a painted ("finished"? you got this...) maple fingerboard). I've replaced the stock Duncan Designed whatever-it-is (which also had a problem with the poles under the E string) with the DiMarzio DP-146 Will Power. I've also replaced the stock 250K volume pot with a 500K one by CTS. No tone pot but I don't need it.

So, I've recorded myself to test the new sound! Since in 10 years I've never managed to learn to play properly, I'm stuck with playing Green Day, blink182, MxPx, and so on... One of my favourite songs is Welcome to Paradise by Green Day, so I went with that.

Here it is (slightly sped up and with a cut at 160Hz on the original).

I'd say it is a MASSIVE improvement, now it sounds like a proper bass.

I'd definitely recommend this pickup.
