The Church of Pharisees

I'm still going to church to keep things happy with my wife. I usually sit in the foyer with the baby for 2 hours because I can't stand Sunday school or elders quorum.

I've spoken with some great people out there in the foyer. It is also a good time to reflect on life and read reddit (not on the wifi of course).

Today I just couldn't help but notice how busy the church meetings are, and yet how most of them are just another lesson from a manual. There's no time for a real connection to people.

I still don't know where I stand on my beliefs on Christ, but I don't think he'd be in the class, reading from a manual. He condemned the Pharisees for being so by the book that they forgot about the people.

Today is ward conference and seeing everyone kiss the stake leaders' asses makes me sick. This whole organization is just wrong.

Sorry for the rant
