TCP/UDP port clarification

Hey Everyone, I'm currently studying for my Security+ certification and I came across a question asked in the CompTia Security+ 6th Ed. book regarding what protocols does IMAP use.

Now from what I understand, I thought IMAP used only TCP and not UDP. The book (Chapter 3) says otherwise. I've always known IMAP to use TCP. The tables in this chapter also references SSH & SCP to also use both TCP and UPD. I don't want this to trip me up in the test so any clarification would be appreciated.
