Daily Eating, Biking, and Workout Questions
You guys have probably seen me here before as that one kid who doesn't know anything about working out or eating right, and today I've got more questions for you guys.
I went to the gym on Thursday, ran a mile, and learned some arm and leg exercises, I did those but I didn't really do any "lifting" like benching, squating, or anything like that. When should I start that? I'm thinking I'm going to do another week or two of that basic stuff to build a bit more muscle and get my arms more used to working out before I start.
Another question I have is, I'm supposed to run a mile as a warm up (Per the request of the guy that's teaching me stuff), but would stationary biking for about half an hour be a decent substitute? Also is it okay to bike for about half an hour daily?
The gym at my school is closed on Wednesdays, but most of the workout routines I'm seeing are Monday Wednesday Friday, I don't have much equipment at home, can I workout on Thursday and Friday instead?
My eating has been less than 1,500 calorie intake a day, if I keep just any type of food under 1500 calories will I still lose weight? I'm trying to hit macros but it's hard with the food I've got available to me.
tl;dr
When should I start lifting after doing just different exercises with dumbells?
Is it okay if I work out on Monday Thursday Friday or Monday Tuesday Friday?
Can I eat any part of 1,500 calories and still lose weight?
Thanks again guys
