The Orchid and the Thief

Location: 8th ward

Date: Night, Feb 21st.

Xeno walked down the streets on a quiet night. He had no reason for being here other than to see Tokyo around. Possibly, learn something new about how ghouls are doing around here. Despite that, Xeno was in no rush and looked around to take in the scenery around him. He kept an expressionless face and closed his eyes for a second. He took a sniff of the beautiful smell of fresh air and...Xeno opened his eyes and stopped his tracks. He sniffed again to make sure of it. Sniff No doubt. It is Ran.

Xeno turned around to try to find him. There was a question that had been bothering him ever since Nikki rescued him. He used his nose to follow the scent and kept getting closer and closer. The smell of faint blood was now mixed in with Ran's. Soon, after reaching to the corner, he came face-to-face with Ran. The white-eyed ghoul looked at him with cold eyes. No one was around besides them. They were at a fair distance from each other. Xeno tried to calm down his boiling blood to get revenge against the man who once tries to kill him. Feet stood firmly in his place and he clutched his fists tightly and let out a word in a restrained voice, "Ran..."
