VBA If statement isn't working.

I have no way to explain it in any more complex way, my coursework involves giving an example of the Control Toolbox being used, so I was going to do "When check box is checked, A1 = Y".

Sub OptionButton5_Click()
    If OptionButton5.Value = True Then
    Range("A1").Value = "Y"
    End If
End Sub

But for some reason when I run it, it comes up with object required. It is actually driving me insane. I just want it to die.

EDIT: Yeah so I have been trying for about 2 hours now, I GIVE THE FUCK UP! Thanks for the help and stuff tho
