Looking to replace Galaxy Note 10.1. Looking for pure android experience. 10" or slightly larger. More info the description.

I'm looking for a good tablet to replace my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. On my phone, which is a galaxy s4, and in my tablet I've rooted and flashed custom roms to bring them too pure android. I can't stand any manufacturers overlays, launchers or ui. I like to keep my device's experience unified. But I also want and the best hardware. What is the best combination of hardware, reliability of custom roms and a screen size of at at least 10"?

Edit: I Know the note has taken pen. I don't need it. This tablet was gift.
