Audio and mic setup help through mixer on PC - Mic echo?

Hi all, so I have a new setup with my PC. Here is how it is all hooked up right now:

Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer connected to the headphone jack on the pc from the 5/6 Channel Main Out on the mixer is connected to the Line input on my PC My mic is xlr connected on Channel one on the mixer I also have the control room out connected to my Bose speakers Finally I have my headphones (DT 770 80ohms) in to my mixer as well.

My question is what is the best configuration for recording screen capture through the mic (I currently use Bandicam for recording tutorials) Also for ingame voice chat as well.

What I would really like to know is, is there a way to make it so I don't hear my mic through my headphones while I am recording and playing.

I also record music and drums through my electronic kit using Sonar X3.

I am definitely a NOOB when it comes to setting everything up so I am probably doing a poor job in explaining this - previously I just used a Blue Yeti USB mic but it wasn't everything that I wanted so I have went with this setup.
