[DIPLOMACY] In Need of Assistance

DIPLOMACY

Prime Minister of Romania and former Secretary of the Military Dimitru Marinescu typed out a short email. He fired it to the Secretary of the Romanian Air Force, Ciprian Anghelescu. The message was only one word: Modernize.

In response, Anghelescu prepared another email, to be sent to his counterparts in the United States, Germany, France, and Sweden.

To Whom it May Concern,

The Romanian Air Force uses, primarily, thirty-six Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-21 multipurpose fighter jets. I, personally, am embarrassed that my nation uses planes that were designed and developed before the Vietnam War. Even more embarrassing is that these planes were "modernized" as late as 1993. Our air defense is lacking, and we are ill-equipped to face an airborne threat face-to-face.

Therefore, I am compelled to truly modernize the Romanian Air Force by purchasing or producing with license sixty new multipurpose aircraft, twenty four dedicated heavy bomber aircraft, twelve transport aircraft, twelve training aircraft, six spy drones, and six attack drones.

We are, hereafter, open to negotiations.
