Westbrook vs Curry for MVP

Maybe it's just a style of play preference but I don't feel like Westbrook is getting enough praise for what he's doing on an MVP level this year.

If you take away the shock and awe of what Curry does on offense and just compare their numbers, here's what we're dealing with:

Curry - 29.7 ppg, 6.6 apg, 2.2 steals, 31.9 PER.

Westbrook- 24.1 ppg, 10.1 apg, 2.3 steals, 28.8 PER.

Curry obviously scores more, shoots better and has the edge in PER. But Russ gets greater than 3 more assists per game, has a better Steal Pct and could get you a triple double every night if he needed to.
