What is the minimum time you can do for an effective muscle-building workout?
Hi, basically I have looked online for this and have only ever seen click-bait articles without a proper answer.
What I am asking is, could you gain a good amount of muscle if your workout was say 20 minutes, as opposed to 1 hour?
I say this because I have always heard that 1 hour is ideal, and that is what I used to do whenever I worked out. I also heard, you could do 40 minutes if the weights were heavier etc, which makes sense.
Then, a few days ago I was having a casual conversation where I was told that 5-10 minutes would add SOME muscle if done correctly, albeit I am a bit wary if this is truthful as it sounds too good to be true.
Could anyone shed any information? For obvious reasons, a 15 minute workout would be more ideal than 1 hour, but it just seems unrealstic.
