Recommended music editing software

Hello reddit,

I'm just curious as to what music editing software do you use to edit music. I'm usually using sony vegas to edit music and move it to premiere. Just wondering if there's an easier editing software. I'm using it primarily for travel videos and music videos. I'd like to be able to cut pieces of the songs and change it up so I'll need to be able to sync them together nicely.

Thanks, CJF
