[WP] The Hero had finally won, but at a great cost. He/She is greatly injured and is struggling to get back to loved ones. Describe the Hero's last moments as he/she desperately tries to hold on.

Not every story has to have a happy ending. We like to see the Hero rewarded for defeating evil. However, the rule that a Hero's victory ending happily-ever-after does not always need to be followed. Instead, this situation is that of a Hero's Sacrifice. But, the Hero is like everyone else. He/She doesn't really want to die.
